Moxlog is made for players, not for data collectors. This page explains what happens to your data and what to keep in mind regarding Magic: The Gathering.

Your data in the app

Only on your device

Tournaments, rounds, decks and statistics are stored locally on your device only. There is no sign-up and no user account, and your tournament data is not transmitted to any server.

No ads, no tracking

Moxlog contains no advertising and no tracking services. Your tournament, round and deck data is never shared with third parties.

Photos

Images you choose for groups stay on your device. The app only accesses photos you select yourself.

Reminders

Tournament reminders are scheduled and shown locally on your device. They use your device’s notification permission, which you can revoke at any time in the system settings. No data is sent to a server.

Your control

Backup and export

You create backups and exported files yourself. Where you store them or who you share them with is entirely up to you, e.g. iCloud Drive or Google Drive. The terms of that provider then apply.

Deleting your data

Your data lives only in Moxlog. If you uninstall the app, the local data is removed from your device. Backups you stored yourself remain.

External services

Anonymous performance data

To keep the app fast, Moxlog sends anonymous technical measurements (e.g. startup time, screen render time, app version, device model, operating system and errors) to Expo’s EAS Observe service. It is not linked to your tournament data and contains no information about you.

Contact form

When you write to us through the contact form, the type, subject, message and your e-mail address (and, if you wish, app version, operating system and platform) are transmitted through our server to the ticket system Linear and stored there so that we can reply to you. The server briefly processes your IP address in the process. Tournament, round and deck data is never sent. On request we delete your message. If sending fails, you can send it by e-mail instead.

Donations via PayPal

The voluntary donation is completed in a PayPal window, where PayPal’s privacy policy applies. Moxlog does not receive any payment data.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics services, and it loads no content from third-party servers. When you visit it, the hosting provider processes connection data (e.g. your IP address) in server log files as a technical necessity to deliver and secure the site. If you switch between the light and dark design, your choice is stored locally in your browser only and is not transmitted.
